New Mama and Baby Circle
For the past 6 years I’ve been facilitating mama/baby circles. It’s a time for moms and babies to gather together and learn about infant development, gain valuable parenting tips and tools and most of all connect with other mamas who are in a similar phase of life. And I have to say, these circles are pretty darn amazing.
A room full of mamas and babies? How on earth did I create such goodness in my life?!?!

Q & A: Sleeping through the night
Q: I am dying to know when my 21 month old daughter sleep through the night?! Up until a few weeks ago we were co-sleeping, then out of the blue when I was getting her ready for bed in her room, she pointed to the twin bed and said “that bed! that bed!” Since that day she has been sleeping in her own bed in her own room. But she continues to wake every couple of hours and calls for me or her dad to come in there to help her fall back asleep.

What if you live for one hundred years?
My sweet grandmother, Virgina Weaver, turned 101 on August 16th. ONE HUNDRED AND ONE YEARS OLD!
She is one of the most beautiful, loving, kind, humans in the world but if someone were to ask me what her special gift is I would say she unconditionally delights in the people around her. And I was a lucky lucky recipient of her joy-filled love.

What a blast! I’m still reeling in the wonderful feelings from having offered guidance, support and inspiration to parents via the Becoming a Calm, Cool and Connected Family teleclasses series. I am not only in awe of how many of you showed up but of how great a vehicle the phone can be in creating connection and building community.
