New Mama and Baby Circle
For the past 6 years I’ve been facilitating mama/baby circles. It’s a time for moms and babies to gather together and learn about infant development, gain valuable parenting tips and tools and most of all connect with other mamas who are in a similar phase of life. And I have to say, these circles are pretty darn amazing.
A room full of mamas and babies? How on earth did I create such goodness in my life?!?!
As many of you know I’ve been passionate about babies since I was a child. It’s definitely “my thing.” From the time I was seven years old I would spend my afternoons and summers hanging out with all the moms and babies in my neighborhood. I could not get enough of them and they could not get enough of me. It was a match made in heaven – For me access to babies, young children and moms who liked to teach me about their lives and for them a willing and able set of hands and eyes to change diapers, feed babies, play with toddlers and fold laundry.
So, it’s no surprise that as an adult I have found a way to fill my living room with moms and babies.
I’ll be starting a new circle on September 27th.
If you are the mama of a non-crawling baby, please join us. And bring your friends.
Here’s what one mama wrote recently:
Thank you for offering a class for mothers that is educational through its experiential nature. Being part of a group that provides affirmation, compassion, and guidance for mothers as we struggle to find a way to provide this for our babies has been transformative and just really great. Going through the work of the class will help me relate to my daughter throughout her lifetime. Thank you. I’m so glad you did follow your dreams. You’re truly healing the world one family at a time.
Wow, quite an endorsement. So, so, so much goodness in my life.
