Classes
This year, I’m shaking things up a bit. I’ve witnessed, over and over, the clients who committed consistently to their parenting evolution, created the sustainable changes they desired in their lives. One off classes—while a wealth of knowledge, tools and inspiration—were missing a key component: A holistic long-term approach.
I am thrilled to share with you that all my most popular classes (below)—and more!—have been elegantly folded into one powerful program, that I know you are going to love: Evolve 2012. Registration for Evolve is now open, classes begin February 6th.

Prenatal Parenting
For pregnant couples or individuals who are embarking on the transition of a lifetime. This group is a place to honestly discuss the joys and challenges of preparing for parenthood, as parents and as partners, with others on the same emotional and physical journey.
New Mama and Baby Circle
This six week class, facilitated by Carrie, is for mamas and their in-arms babies. Being offered the tools to navigate this time as well as an opportunity to share your experience, we will create community and support as you go forward on this adventure.
Wonderful ONE: Parenting Your Emerging Toddler
For parents with children between 10 and 20 months, your sweet little baby is still sweet but not so little anymore. He is starting to walk and talk and assert his own will and strong opinions. It’s time for you to shift from caretaker to parent and Carrie is here to guide you!
Terrifically TWO: Parenting Your Toddler
Terrible twos? No way! Sure, stubborn and willful at times but you would be too if you were learning a language, growing bones and teeth, absorbing art and music and nature, and figuring out how to make sense of this world. This is a magical time and Carrie will help you understand your child and her development so you can stay sane and savor the moments.
Ooh weeee…THREE: Parenting Your Emerging Preschooler
Some days your child is delightfully talking your ear off, blowing your mind with intellect and cracking you up with his playful wit. And some days, that very same child is resisting seemingly everything you offer including your love and affection, calling you names and melting down into a puddle. There’s an art to living with this little person who is not exactly a toddler anymore but not quite a preschooler either. Sometimes it can be a wild ride.

Fabulously FOUR: Parenting Your Preschooler
Learning and doing and exploring and sharing and growing‚ so is the life of a four year old. More and more your little one is acting like a big kid but she still has her moments of being highly emotional, irrational and willful. Understanding what is typical and why most behavior can be viewed as a state, not a trait, is key to better living with this growing person who is on the way to big kidhood.
Adding A Second Child
Are you pregnant or thinking about making the leap from having an only child to creating a family of two (or more)? Undoubtedly you have BIG questions to ponder! This class will guide you in finding answers and solutions to your concerns and will offer growing families innovative yet simple ways to enter into this new existence as a growing family.
Fostering Healthy Sibling Relationships
For parents with more than one child, this class will offer some practicals for the short and long term. As the family emotional regulator you need to have some juice in your cup so you are more able to see and hear and appreciate the little ones. Carrie will offer some strategies for creating more fun and connection as they grow. Plus answer the general questions about how to deal with sticky sibling situations in the moment.
