First we pause, then we notice
First we pause.
Then we notice.
To me, this means pausing and noticing what I’m perceiving myself to be amidst.
In other words,
Where am I in physical time and space?
What season of the year am I in?
What season of life am I in?
Who are the people I’m living and loving and growing with?
What is requiring my attention?
Checking in on what we’re amidst is the act of taking stock in the moment. Becoming aware of the who, what, when, where and how of it all.
First we pause.
Then we notice.
